Goals and Fears

Bonjour SLT.

I am excited to finally get to post on our "Before You Leap" blog! I apologize for my tardiness in responding to our first blog question. It was a challenge getting internet while traveling through Europe and trying to set up my account in French was another obstacle. Thanks to Chris for helping me with these technical difficulties!

Now on to my goals and fears!

Like any other senior my main goal is to graduate! However, before I walk across the stage to receive my diploma, I hope to have accomplished many smaller goals that will make graduating more rewarding.

(Academic goals)
1. Work hard in all my classes / Make good grades
2. Do well on my Brown Scholar!
3. Don't get senioritis
4. Graduate !!!

(SLT goals)
1. Continue to grow as a leader
2. Be a positive role model for HL'ers and underclassmen
3. Work to make HL a better program
4. Choose good speakers for HL meetings
5. Help create a welcoming atmosphere for others in the SLT/HLD office and Student Life
6. Connect with all students participating in HL

Now on to fears...

My fears mainly consist of having too much on my plate. SLT, Brown Scholars, and school work will take up almost all of my time. However, I hope to manage my time wisely and always prioritize. I know that being a part of SLT and being a Brown Scholar will definitely help me in the long run. Excelling in these things will make receiving my diploma just a little bit more rewarding.

Au revoir!
